Home Energy Solutions of Wisconsin specializes in identifying, diagnosing and solving home comfort / performance, weatherization and healthy home challenges and issues for homeowners and landlords. Financial incentives are available through Focus on Energy for single family (1-3 units) and multi-family (4+ units) buildings.

The company is owned and managed by Dan Guse. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Dan attended the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. He is a proud supporter and fan of the Green Bay Packers. He has over 30 years of building, roofing and construction experience.

For the past 10 years, Dan has been focusing on his passion — energy efficiency. As a Focus on Energy program manager, Dan and his team were responsible for installing simple energy efficiency measures such as light bulbs, aerators and pipe wrap into eligible homes across Wisconsin. Over 60,000 homeowners learned about the benefits of saving energy and benefited from participating in this program.

Due to the success of this program, Dan decided to start Home Energy Solutions of Wisconsin to continue his passion of educating homeowners and improving the comfort, health and energy efficiency of homes and apartment buildings across Wisconsin.

Located in the Green Bay metropolitan area, Home Energy Solutions of Wisconsin serves a majority of the state from Green Bay, Fox Valley and Door County out to Central Wisconsin and north from there.

Dan is a certified Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst which means the company has the education, knowledge and skills necessary to identify and solve your home’s problems. You can be assured the work completed on your home is in compliance with current building guidelines and practices and is of the highest quality.

Home Energy Solutions of Wisconsin is also a qualified participating Focus on Energy Home Performance Trade Ally / Contractor and a member of the Focus on Energy’s statewide Home Performance Trade Ally network.

To be a Focus on Energy Trade Ally / Contractor staff must be knowledgeable and properly trained. The company must allow periodic project inspections by Focus on Energy representatives to ensure measures are properly installed and safety precautions are observed.

In exchange, Focus on Energy provides additional specialized training and support, assists with diagnostic software, provides educational resources and allows access to Focus on Energy’s Home Performance program benefits and incentives.
